What Do We Mean by “Services”?

“Services” refers to any offerings provided by Urgent Repair 247 across all the trades we cover, including but not limited to:

Enquiries
Estimates
Project Work
Installations
Repairs
Emergency Call Outs
Servicing
Warranties
Guarantees

Service Warranty Duration Based on Occupancy: Owner vs. Tenant:

The warranty for services varies based on the occupant of the house where the service was provided. If the owner (customer) resides there, the warranty lasts for one year, but if there’s a tenant, the warranty is for six months.

The warranty is provided exclusively for full jobs, wherein Urgent Repair 247 undertakes a comprehensive project from inception to completion. Partial jobs or patch work do not come under the warranty coverage.

To avail the warranty, the customer needs to follow these steps: If there’s an issue with the job done, the customer must contact us promptly, inform us about the problem, and book an appointment. We will then visit the site, inspect the issue, and if it is related to the original problem we were hired to fix, we will address it at no additional cost. However, if the issue is unrelated to the original problem, the customer will be responsible for the repair costs.

Other Warranty Terms and Conditions:

Exclusions:

The warranty does not cover damages or issues caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, acts of nature, vandalism, or any unauthorized repairs or modifications made by the customer or third parties.

Proper Maintenance:

To maintain the validity of the warranty, the customer is responsible for performing regular and proper maintenance of the serviced area or equipment, as per the manufacturer’s recommendations and guidelines.

Voiding the Warranty:

The warranty will be considered void if the customer fails to make full payment for the services rendered or if there is evidence of tampering, alteration, or removal of parts installed by Urgent Repair 247.

Cooperation for Inspection:

In case of a warranty claim, the customer must provide Urgent Repair 247 with reasonable access to the serviced area or equipment for inspection purposes. Failure to cooperate may result in the denial of the warranty claim.

Transferability:

The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer who hired Urgent Repair 247 for the services.

Supplementary Agreements:

Any additional agreements or modifications to the warranty must be made in writing and signed by both parties.

Limitation of Liability:

Under no circumstances shall Urgent Repair 247 be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the warranty or the services provided, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption.

Dispute Resolution:

Any disputes or disagreements arising from the warranty or services shall be resolved amicably through negotiation. If no resolution is reached, both parties agree to pursue mediation or arbitration before resorting to litigation.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations:

Urgent Repair 247 shall perform all services in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. The customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or approvals required for the services.

Force Majeure:

Urgent Repair 247 shall not be liable for any delays or failure to perform the services due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or governmental actions.

Entire Agreement:

This warranty policy constitutes the entire agreement between the customer and Urgent Repair 247 regarding the warranty and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
